Destiny concept artwork has greatly influenced the direction of my project in particular the style of using textured brushes in the creation of the concept art. I have developed my own style for this project based of this technique.

Jaime Jones is one of the concept artists that worked on Destiny he use a very dynamic and textured look to create his images and is mostly focused on character design. As you can see below some of his thumbnails show how his process works he can quickly get dynamic poses down with a few brushstrokes.

I used this style because I have always admired this type of concept art and I believe the different textured brushes look very sandy and rough which suits the environment and concept of my work.
