UDK (unreal development kit) is a free version of the unreal game engine, that allows you to import models, animations, textures, audio and cinematics; basically it used to create a game in a 3D environment. I will use this game engine to import my finished castle because it is one of the simpler ones to use. There is another engine called Cryengine but it is fairly difficult to understand and because this is my first time using this I have decided UDK is the better option.

CastleUDK is a game engine that you can download for free. It gives you a lot of potential to make something good but it is very difficult to understand so jest getting the model into UDK was quite a feat for me.

CastleFirst Castle Problems
CastleThis is the first castle I did based on castle miranda, however I have had issues with it. Because I have made this from on box it is very complicated and some of the mesh has become too difficult to understand.
Because of this the uv map is way to complicated for me to understand and I am running out of time so I will start again with another simpler castle, which is made of individual objects.

CastleTexture Creation
CastleMost textures should be repeatable so that you can cover large areas easily, this is especially useful with buildings and ground. You have to make sure the textures don’t have any noticeable areas that give away show seams, to do this you have to use Photoshop and clone areas masking certain areas.
